Your New Glasses:
Care & Adjustment
Care tips for your glasses and lenses
Clean your glasses regularly using the spray and microfibre cloth provided.
Store your glasses in their case when not in use.
Rinse your glasses under fresh, cool water if they are exposed to grit, sand or chlorine. Let them air dry, then clean with spray and microfibre cloth.
Wash your cleaning cloth regularly. Pop it in with your laundry without using fabric softner.
Use both hands when putting on and taking off your
glasses and don’t keep them on top of your head.
Don’t leave your glasses in the car. Frame materials and lens coatings don’t tolerate heat well and can suffer irreversible damage in hot conditions.
Adjusting to your new frames and lenses
Sometimes it takes time to adapt to a new prescription or lens design. We want to ensure you’re not experiencing any ongoing difficulties using your glasses as intended. If you do have any concerns or are finding the adjustment challenging, please let us know. Even small adjustments to your frames can make a significant difference to your visual comfort and overall experience.
Your frames may simply need tightening or loosening, and nose pads on metal frames can be adjusted for a better fit. If you are experiencing any discomfort, feel free to drop in, complimentary frame adjustments are always part of our service.
