Devereaux Optometrist Everton Park is an independent, family-owned practice dedicated to excellence in patient eye care. Established in 1993, we combine experience with the latest diagnostic technology to thoroughly assess and monitor eye health.

Our practice is equipped with advanced testing equipment, including OCT macula scanners, digital retinal and slit lamp cameras, motorised refractor heads and auto refractors for precise vision assessment.

While achieving the best possible vision is important, our primary focus is long-term eye health. Our comprehensive testing procedures and attention to detail ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.

James Devereaux

M. Optom. B.Vis.Sc.

James completed his Master of Optometry (with Distinction) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

James is a fully qualified Optometrist and a Contact Lens Practitioner who is able to prescribe ocular therapeutics. James also provides advice and treatment options to slow down short-sighted progression (Myopia Control) and Ortho K contact lens fitting.

Peter Devereaux

M. Optom. B.Vis.Sc.

Peter completed his Master of Optometry (with Distinction) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Peter is a fully qualified Optometrist and a Contact Lens Practitioner who is able to prescribe ocular therapeutics. Peter also provides advice and treatment options to slow down short-sighted progression (Myopia Control).

John Devereaux

John completed his Optometry degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

John is practicing part time as well as providing support and mentoring within the practice.

We stock a range* of single vision clear lenses with an anti-reflective coating, which potentially can provide you with a complete pair of single vision spectacles on the same day and sometimes within the hour.**

Our on site lab and equipment enables us to fit lenses to most frames, including your own frame if it is in good condition.

*Range is limited and won’t be suitable for all prescriptions

**Conditions apply. Your prescription and/or frame type may limit our ability to provide a same day service. Old frames are also at risk of breaking during the fitting process. You will need to discuss this risk with us at fitting.
